How much does Preenio cost?
The app is free to download and there are no setup fees. Preenio takes a commission on bookings customers make online. Walk-in bookings you add yourself in the app are paid for with Preenio Coins instead, with no commission on them.
What are Preenio Coins?
Prepaid credit for your place. Coins pay for the walk-in bookings you add yourself in the app, in place of commission, and the app shows what a walk-in costs before you save it. The owner buys them in the app (any amount above the minimum, or a bundle) from the place wallet, their own wallet or by card. Coins never expire.
What happens if my place runs out of coins?
The app tells you before you save, and walk-in bookings can't be added until the owner tops up. Online bookings keep coming in as normal- they don't use coins.
When do customers pay?
Online, when they book. A booking is only confirmed once payment has gone through, so the times on your calendar are paid for.
How do I get paid?
Payments for your bookings go into your Preenio business wallet. Withdraw them straight to your bank account instantly, whenever you like- no waiting for a weekly payout. Withdrawals need your business account to be verified first.
Can I set my own cancellation policy?
Yes. Choose how long before an appointment customers can cancel for free, the fee after that, and a no-show fee. Your policy is shown on your place page.
Can I pause bookings for a while?
Yes. Pause new bookings when you need a break, with an optional note and return date. Your page stays visible; customers just can't book until you resume.
Can customers book a specific staff member?
Yes. Customers see the team members who can perform each service and can choose one, or leave it to you to assign someone.
